Vs ecotec no injector pulse with vats off

Post by Bumpidding »

Me and some mates recently swapped a vs ecotec and auto with a turbo on it into a morris minor with a loom we cut all the bcm stuff out of. We de soldered the vs memcal and uv erased it then burnt a xu6 bin with vats off by ticking the "1=anti theft module disabled" box in tuner pro.
When i burnt the chip i told to programmer it was a amd27c010@dip32 chip and i didnt touch the voltage so i think it was set at 13.something. it would program and verify data only if i had "check id" off in the programmer.
We plugged it back into the ecu and it would prime the fuel pump indicating that the ecu is working, we would also get spark but no injector pulse still. We would bridged terminal 5-6 on the diagnostic port to get the fault flash light to work and it stayed solid and a diagnostic tool would not connect to it. Kinda out of odeas and this is our first attempt at flashing ecu's some help would awesome.

Did you disable the checksum when you disabled vats?

That small shot of the hex with all FF isn't a good sign maybe a bad burn. Post the bin file you wanted to write.

Using 51$_scv6_vs_XU6_timing_aust.bin with "1=anti theft module disabled" ticked in option flags

you need to put the memcal with adapter in the programmer & read it off to make sure the data that was written to it was o.k.

too many variables, did you make sure the eeprom was erased before writing, did you do a read after writing... just need to make sure & assuming you used the correct xdf?
