MAF or MAP

Post by lowace »

Hi all just after some advice on what is the best way to go in regards to running the map based computer or Maf system with sequential injection.
I removed the 304 from my vs series 3 ute and have rebuilt it with 10.5.1 comp, head work and cam etc, I was running this in its standard state with just the cam and tuning with The1's enhanced software (so I already have this setup).

The engine will now be going into my vs ss series 2 which as you all know runs the Map. I am stuck on which way to go :? , some people swear by the map system and say its a lot easier to tune. If I were to go this way I would have to by a new nvram which isn't an issue but is it really any better than the maf.
I do have the maf hardware etc setup so would be easier to make happen but is the sequential really that much better.

Any help help and knowledge ad knowledge on making this decision guys would be much appreciated.
Cheers

I'd go map, fit the pre VT intake, dissy and loom to suit.
MAF tuning is nothing to be scared of as you already know.
But a lot simpler install in that vehicle.
