Maf on earlier ecu’s
Was looking through an article on auto speed, and found this. Sounds a lot like the ls1 411. But his saying it can be done on the earlier ecu’s

There were a couple versions of Kalmaker software that used both MAF and MAP. Never tried them myself even though I have them so couldn't say if it's good or bad

Re: Maf on earlier ecu’s
Its a nice idea but a good tuner can get MAP on 11P and 12P well within the physical limitations of the injectors and engine itself and of course the accuracy of the WB controller so its pretty moot. Easily able to get 0.1-0.2 AFR stability with MAP. Maybe MAF helped with the old kalmaker and old code as I recall the MAP resolution is quite poor compared to 11P and 12P.
I'm the director of VSH (Vlad's Spec Holden), because HSV were doing it ass about.

Leon (awesome automotive) is a well known kalmaker guy, so that would likely be the software. I tend to agree, not necessary, but possible.
