Just a note on fuel pump. With a top swap the stock ecotec fuel pump needs to be upgraded, it can't flow enough LPH. Many would swap to a Walbro 255 LPH pump.
Re: Vx l67 flash
its gone a walbro 450 in it

Yes the vx l67 tune runs on the previous generation vt computer, and isnt plug n play. You'll have to change wiring to swap computers to run it. Or you can use the flas pcm and tune yourself with the enhanced bin which the1 wrote which adds support for boost to the factory flash pcm which otherwise never came out with boost support. I dont think that tune comes ready to drive either, but im not sure. There are a couple of threads on the site going through these options. I'll paste a link later when im on a pc.
Have you read the FAQ? For lots of information and links to significant threads see here: http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1396

Re: Vx l67 flash
If you send me the ecu's you've bricked & a good 1 just in case I should be able to get them to respond again & if you want 1 as a start base top swap tune flashed on it let me know(PM).

Ive got a mate thats learning how to use tunerpro so should be all see with tuning side of it

Re: Vx l67 flash
With the Flash PCM's It's a lot of time as you can't do things realtime, so your only using tunerpro to make mods to bin & then the ose tool to flash each time!
So long as The1's enhanced is the same calibration as yours you just flash cal, but if it's a different calibration then you can't use it at all as the rest of the file is zero'd out!
I didn't mention in post above but reason for sending your bricked ecu's is I may be able to make them usable again!

Re: Vx l67 flash
If you flick me a PM Acetek I can send you a beta version of the flashtool that will recover the dead PCMs.
To go to the flash PCM enhanced code working you need to do a write bin initially (answer no to writing the registers), then after that to make your tuning changes just write cal.
