flash tool connection issue

Post by Turbovg »

so i recently installed the hardware to tune my vn commodore but im having trouble connecting
to the ose flash tool, ive got the comms board etc wired up correctly i believe but it just doesnt want to connect.

the ecu lights up and my computer picks up somthings been plugged in but when i hit connect in flash tool it comes up with error number 91

only thing im unshore of is if i have the pins i guess youd call them are in the right spot, RW pin is in, the PCM pin and the 6 cylinder pin
is in, on the oposite side theres another pin thats also on its ether bin or program. i think i could possibly be missing a pin as there isnt on to go
in type J or M, is there one thats suposta there and would that be the course for no reconising the ecu

cheers fellas
