How can I use one of the spare OSE12P inputs to qualify a scalar? I want to either disable a scalar using the input, or switch between one scalar setting and another, both having the same output function.
I understand that using the Map A/B selection input could do what I need, but that then kills all other uses for the dual map function.

No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Thats correct, you can map data in ram like that. It needs to be a function thats built in for purpose. Map a/b can be used if what you need has a map a copy and a map b copy. It'll be swapping all that data though, so you cant do it for 2 items individually. Has to be all together.

Re: OSE12P inputs
You can also use the bin switch jumper as a switch in a pinch and have 2 more lots of a/b tables in the other half of the nvram
If Its Got Gas Or Ass Count Me In.if it cant be fixed with a hammer you have an electrical problem

Thanks delcowizzid. I'm not currently using an NVRAM. I have replaced the 27C256 EPROM with a 29C256 EEPROM.delcowizzid wrote:You can also use the bin switch jumper as a switch in a pinch and have 2 more lots of a/b tables in the other half of the nvram

For a 27c512 or similar you can stack 2 tunes and switch 1 address pin and do the same

Re: OSE12P inputs
I might try that. Toggling the A15 pin should switch between the upper 256k and the lower 256k. Am I on the right track?delcowizzid wrote:For a 27c512 or similar you can stack 2 tunes and switch 1 address pin and do the same
Thanks,
Brett.

Re: OSE12P inputs
Remove a15 pin from the memcal and run a 4k7 or 10k resistor to a15 from vcc and switch pin a15 to ground to swap between each half is the best
