Bin/xdf issues

Post by sidechik »

Ok so I’ll try and make this as clear as possible, I’m starting out new trying to learn how to tune my delco ‘424 for my 304 powered rodeo burnout car, so I’ve got tunerpro installed and I’ll load the $11p bin and xdf file into it then I’ll check all the tables etc and they are all just zero?

I’m tuning it for e85, 3582 turbo and about 10ish psi, motor is stock with just bigger lifter springs and head studs.

The only circumstance I can think of where no data is displayed is either the bin is empty, or the bin didn't really load into tunerpro.
As in the screen below, if it's loaded it'll show where I put a red rectangle around on the top left of the top bar in tunerpro.

Bin is showing loaded in the top menu that’s the confusing part

Is the bin a stacked bin pulled from an nvram, it's data will be in a different location than the xdf pointers if it is.

Tried numerous different bins/xdf’s all have the same result.

My question is where did you get the bin and xdf? The ones on here have all the data for a std car and read spot on.

well theres multiple issues there.

bin is OSE $12P V1.11
XDF is OSE $12P v1.12

and if your trying to tune a 424 pcm then you'll definitely want $11P not $12P.

Thankyou so much I wasn’t sure if the v1.11 had to be the same or if the new version covered them both, I’m just trying to steal the ignition and fuel tables out for $11p as it’s similar to my build and would give me a base to work from.

This whole thing is new to me and the more I read the more it seems to confuse me
