If you google his name, also try Autospeed.
You may even come up with his own version.
His particular article was very detailed.

I believe it was used to allow the race teams to adjust fuelling on the fly for better power or economy.
There is also mention of it in this thread.

EDIT:

GEN:OPT:EOPTB[bpw trim]
This option enables variation of the output fuel pulse by a calibrated resistance between two ECM terminals. It is used on VL Group A applications to give individual adjustment to fuel.
