whipple 304 tune

Post by Dazza92VP »

hey guys just wondering if anyone has a tune of some sort close to similar specs just to get started on this thing has the following specs
304 block standard rings pistons and heads
286 cam
1.65 roller rockers
660cc injectors
2 bar map
2.4l whipple water to air intercooler looks to be about 11-12psi dont really know just yet as havent been able run it up
extractors with twin 3"
th400 with we're thinking 3800 stall
ive set the ecu to control the kick down and the intercooler pump as well.
we built it and he took it straight to a reputable tuner supposedly and he couldnt even get it to idle correctly with out it fouling plugs and fumigating the shed in 30 secs of idle. i've managed to get it to idle now with out burning all the fossil fuels left in the world but just looking for a tune i can use to base it off little more closer to get started. I've done tweaks on maps and stuff before but i've never done boosted before and by the look of it started from absolute scratch with a map before ive attached what ive managed to use to get it running with the wideband and ve calc to get it idling better without fouling plugs but the ve map it horrible looking.
also does the 12p 2bar adx hae ve calc over 100kpa looks to be just a n/a ve calc sheet.
the log there is the last one before i packed up at the end of the night

The included adx is missing the calcVE over 100Kpa. I do have one that goes to 170Pka which is about 10psi but not the full 2 bar.

It would be nice if the download for 12P on here included up to date ADXs for boost.

Do you mind if I grab that adx even though it’s missing the last few cells is better than nothing. Also that XDF I’ve uploaded I edited it so it has all the parameters sorted into correct labeled categories exactly like 11p does makes it easier to finds parameters. if anyone wants it without the flex output edits I can put it up as far as I know the xdf in the 12p thread is still unsorted

As far as the tune goes was the Kalmaker tune for that exact setup if so it may be easier copying those changes over to the $12p file.
