Turns out the supposed 630cc injectors are a bit smaller than they should be although the part number says they are 630cc (fl114962) ened up turning on double fire back on jacking up the injector rate by almost double and now the ve table is in the 60 to 70% ve off boost. We can now rev it to 4500rpm and target fuel ratio only one point away on the rich side. I’ll post up the little log and the tune so far later on this morning. Only thing that worries me is that it’s sort of a fudge on the injector rating and I’m not to sure I’m what range my ve table is supposed to be in

log and new ve map i've tweaked the ve after this log just need to start putting a bit of load on it to push it outside the 40, 50, 60kpa areas kind of just guessed at the ve above these areas but have hopefully gone a little on the richer side of things

You really gave that VE Table the workout lol.
The lean spike on backing out of the throttle may be helped by adding in some DE Gain vs Delta manifold fuel.
Adding some timing in the highlighted areas of the Main Spark table will also help with the transition when coming off the throttle.
The bubble trace sweeps in an arc right on those MAP RPM areas.
Yes you were definitely too low with your previous Inj. Displ/ Flow rate. 0.0501 is definitely closer to the 0.047 the calculation shows.
That injector # looks to be from a dubious source (especially given the price). I would get them flow tested to see how they perform.

haha yea was sitting the for a few hours just watching and changing was starting to go cross eyed looking at numbers but thanks mate for having a look at it. I've added a degree of timing in those areas highlighted will see how it reacts to it but I'm unsure of how the de gain table works so i haven't adjusted that yet. mate happier than ever already as its already reving better and not fumigating the house im hoping to get back over there this weekend and have another crack at it.

as for the injector rate every time i used the flow calc spread sheet those injectors came up as 0.03 maybe i was punching it in wrong?

I would add more than 1 degree timing in those areas. Start with three with a thought to lift even further.
The DE Gain are small figures. Add in, say 0.02 (which is a fairly large %), and see how it goes.

Do install the pump. Even though you are probably not seeing the need for it in the light throttle areas you are tuning now, you will need it for the business end of the tune.Dazza92VP wrote: ....it is a standard pump i do have a walbro 255Lph pump if needed?
Plus it will save needing to touch the tune up again in those areas you are tuning now.
You really weren't that far off with your Fuel Calc. anyway (@ 0.0399). The thing is, the injectors are the unknown here....
