So I uploaded a $12P to my Kalmaker, can it be fixed?

Holden/Delco Tuning. ALDL, OBD 1.5. Circa 1989 to 2004.

Yeah it’s been in the car for ages, 13 years ago is when the engine was built into a stroker which is when the Kalmaker became required to tune. So the manufacturing date would be right.

That might explain why it worked for QUIPT4IT, but was gone when it arrived back here.

I’ve tried the echo setting both ways and neither work.

What’s my options going forward?

You may not have quite understood the importance of this, or you may have missed it, however....
My move would be toward a bonafide PCM Hacking real time board, cable and of course a new NVRAM.
Then download fresh copies of OSE $12P, as they may have been corrupted, just to be sure. :comp:

yeah, i'll just go for the supported hardware.
i have a spare VN V8 ECU here i can use.

Just to save future issues you may want to get a programmer just in case things get corrupt in future & you'll be able to sort it out yourself

So i have a new DS1245 chip on the way to me from a member here, It has $12P loaded to it.

So i dont fuck this up again, what are my steps to getting a tune on to it so i can go driving and tuning?

The 1245 chip doesn't work on Kalmaker RT boards from memory.
Think they ran the 1230?

Christ, dont tell me that! I only bought the chip as the boards are NA at the moment. I hope I haven't just pissed $150 away

I have a heap of 1230s if you need one
If Its Got Gas Or Ass Count Me In.if it cant be fixed with a hammer you have an electrical problem

IT RUNS!!! IT FECKING RUNS!!!

gonna go lock the shed now and not look at the damn thing until the new injectors turn up next week.
