A very wise move. Especially when a car is on a Dyno. Think about it. If the Dyno's ram rate is not set correctly for the car it could easily cause it to knock.

Do a search for correct ram rate on a Dyno. Tell us what you find.

Ok so an update,

Have repaired the clearance issues with the exhaust, and now have a smooth power curve that shows little signs of knock retard. On the road, everything seems to be fine so thanks a lot for the help guys!

I have the log attached.

I am still however a little bit confused by
a) the Boost Solenoid valves behavior under WOT.
b) the lack of apparent spark advance under WOT

What are people's thoughts on this?
