did buick ECU's have security?

Post by gareth12 »

I know my way around LS stuff, and i have done a few ecotec. But a mate has asked me to take the security of a VN buick ecu, serv no 1227808 16157988. I asked a few people and people felt VNs had no ecu security but Vp/vr might? Anyway rather than speculate i thought i would just ask here.

Its going into a conversion not back into a commodore.

I think the security started with VR.

That is correct.
I'm the director of VSH (Vlad's Spec Holden), because HSV were doing it ass about.
