Transmission codes

Post by Nortonspeedwell »

Hi Guys
I haven't been able to find transmission related options to solve this
I have a problem in a VX L67 with getrag(in a conversion). The transmission has been selected as manual yet it has a handful of codes, rolling idle too high and high speed fan runs all the time, if the codes are erased the high idle disappears for a while.
I shall try to add the fault codes to show what I am dealing with.

It sounds like its not tuned properly (not set up for the getrag) but there isn't enough information here to go from. At least post the bin, better yet a log from tunerpro on a pc. Im not an expert on these transmissions, but at least trans fluid temperature voltage high sounds real, idle speed error could be because there is a pulses per km setting thats not set right for the box. The boxes do tend to show a solenoid error due to missing hardware, but being the getrag not a 4l60e I'm out of my depth to know what is normal and expected. I think codes 73, 67 look sus, and 66 is a maybe. Is there a wiring error?
Have you read the FAQ? For lots of information and links to significant threads see here: http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1396

It appears I uploaded an incorrect picture to the reply, showing data instead of codes.
I have gone through the wiring over and over and found no abnormalities.
I'm waiting to hear back the bin name, "07$" rings a bell.

Cheers, I'll see what info I can get from the tuner.

Update:
I removed pcm transmission inputs C1,C2,C3,C13,C14,C15,C16 which has stopped the high speed fan running all the time.
