Tunerpro RT says "connecting" but will not connect

Post by Roblack »

Hi Guys,

I am having connection issues with my ALDL cable, I have recently installed a NVRAM and the car now starts and runs with this but I cannot get tuner pro rt to connect for the life of me.

I have checked which coms port it is connected to and tested cable which is found and functioning but when i hit connect is just says "connecting"

The vehicle is a 95 vs v8 auto, the NVRAM is loaded with the enhanced code, I have loaded VS_V8_$A6F_Enhanced_v0.90 bin, xdf, and adx files, tired changind the echo settings and have searched the forums for info but am running out of things to try.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, you need to use the program on here called $11p , this is the one for your map based 1995 vs for factory pcm. The enhanced code you’re trying to use (A6F) is for maf based pcm for 99 s3 not compatible to with each other.

It will need to go into a burner to recover that memory.
You could try and use bank B now hopefully it has $11P on it
