When I have looked at rescaling I found it easier to play with pull up resistors and leave the code alone, a temp sensor is highly non-linear so pullup choice is pretty critical for the range you expect to operate in.
Thats it!!! i didnt think about that but yes the bin is only 32k.
well, ive been chasing a problem with my MAT counts table. i made a video awhile back to try to explain what the problem is. my knowlege runs out when you talk about pullup resistors. im thinking something is goofed with this table, either way something needs fixed so i can tune my MAT table correctly. a vid...

Interesting, take a log of it idling and post it up along with the ADX. It could be as simple as the wrong calc for MAT is used in TP.

Do the MAT numbers make more sense if you just use the same calculation for MAT as for ECT? (ie X*.75-40 or X*1.35-40 for degrees C or F)

not sure what you mean, isnt that a linear conversion?darcy wrote:Do the MAT numbers make more sense if you just use the same calculation for MAT as for ECT? (ie X*.75-40 or X*1.35-40 for degrees C or F)

Roughly what would you expect the MAT to read?
