Re: $5A
i have a few versions of $5B any use maybe you can offset one to suit if its close to a $5A
If Its Got Gas Or Ass Count Me In.if it cant be fixed with a hammer you have an electrical problem
Re: $5A
Allready tried all the $5B xdf's and nothing is close. The ECM is a '7730, and the car is an 88 Cavalier Z24. No other code masks will work the A/C or TCC. I can e-mail you the bin file if you'd like.
Thanks

Re: $5A
From what I can see, there are a heap of masks used on that ecu but I don't see $5A, post up your bin and I'll have a look.
Never know your luck, I may come across something.

Re: $5A
Should be an $88 mask.
I have no way to open the .rar file you have posted.

Re: $5A
You need WinRAR or something similar to open it.
Here it is in a Zip file. I tried with a $88 mask, but it's all over the place and nothing looks right.
Given all the other masks for th 730 ecu, it's suprising no one appears to have anything on this one.
Looking at it with a Hex Editor it all appears fair normal, if you have managed to get some other bins to work but not the TCC lockup, it may pay to check the wiring diagram for the other bins, it may be as simple as moving the TCC lock wiring to a different pin out on the ecu.

Re: $5A
Got the diagrams for the TCC lockup for the other BINS. They are pinned in the same spot as the car. That thought crossed my mind, just re-pin it! To no avail, the TCC control wire is in the same spot from 87-91, those are the diagrams I have looked at. I appreciate your guys help on this!
Thanks!

Re: $5A
The other bins may be manual bins, though the TCC should be active more frequently then, because it would be a shift light output.
I would look at the speed variables of the other bins, they may be set differently and not know that the car is at speed.
Do you get a vehicle speed reading through the ALDL with the other bins?
Do you have an optical VSS? Possibly mounted to the back of the speedo?

Re: $5A
The other bins I've tried are automatic car files. I have also tried adjusting the varibles for when the converter locks up. The car has a digital dash in it, yes the speedo works with the other bins when I set the Instrument panel and Road speed constants. Here's what I have come up with so far in relation to a xdf file. The only two things I have got to work are the Main timing table and the VSS pulse divider. I've spent around 20 hrs trying to get the other two on there.
