Lots of good info here well worth a read. Hopefully clears a few thing's up. Explains them better than I can.

Re: Hotrod convertion
Did you say $750.00 for a tune. That's crazy. I use the chips from moates.net. they are reflashable. You can buy the burner, chip. ostrich, wideband, and tunercat program for cheaper and tune it in realtime. That's how I do them. Not sure if anyone on here has a easier route or another emulator. But it makes tuning much easier.
Re: Hotrod convertion
How can I reduce the idle fuel as it's running to rich to idle with out the idle screw wound in when I start it it's flooded and only clears when I crack the throttle and bring the revs up above idle say 1000-1500rpm for a minute that's cold start . Whent for a test drive this morning with the little caravan on and recorded a log

This is the log that I recorded today

Find the RPM and load point you want to reduce in the VE table and lower that value.Dylan wrote:Lots of good info here well worth a read. Hopefully clears a few thing's up. Explains them better than I can.

G day all. Seasons greetings to all. As I have said before I am new to this is it possible to connect a 5wire wide band o2 sensor to the 808 or do I need to get one that has its own controller ?
