Yeah its those double faults that get you, test one bit nope, test next bit nope. I reckon maybe it does sound like pcm (those non-delco/non-delphi ones seem to have heaps more problems) but im keen to find out what the result was when you get to the bottom of it.

can you confirm us ecu works in my car.
can also confirm ecu is not at fault !!!!!!!!
can also say componets on board would be easy enough to remove and place on new board if needed

1 holden dealer want $450 to program new ecu

another holden dealer want $195

payed $195 . and have my orginal ecu aswell .all working so have 2 working ecu for this car.
and also as a valued customer bonus, they put small ding and scuff in skirt of car. flippin idiots.

any how took car for drive and still same fault

still p0300 , p0301

what does it leave ? false maf,map reading ? i dont know.

so list is as follows

6 x new plugs , odd bank injectors swapped and cleaned, coil replaced and swapped , and new ecu !

Have you tried using some of that upper cylinder/intake cleaner? I believe the Subaru stuff is best. Give the MAF a clean. I'd swap the coils over from bank to bank (I'd suggest anything you swap is bank to bank as it would be a lot more obvious if the fault moves). This sounds like a lean fire miss, so either fuel or weak/lack of spark. Dirty MAF can cause lean issues and so can a dud O2 sensor(s).

A vacuum gauge may be a good idea as it can show up mechanical issues with the valve train like sticking valve.

Have you changed the fuel filter or tried some injector cleaner? Checked fuel pressures?

I can't give an opinion because I've not personally used it but others swear by it. I think a couple of the other user will chime in.

Very safe, if used properly, we also use 'Wurth' intake system cleaner at work
According to chemistry, alcohol is a solution...

Yeah ive used it on GM cars before, no problems and good result. Very smokey for the short period it goes through the engine, do it outdoors.
