I have been looking over the logs that I pulled the other day when I was letting the engine warm up. From what I can see from the logs it looks like there may possibly be an issue with how my wideband controller is wired in. The logs show a wideband reading of 7.3 consistently with no changes as the engine is warming up. The narrowband reading shows as .995v also with no changes. To me it looks like either the engine is running very rich or pin D8 is not getting any voltage from the wideband controller or likely a broken wire or not wired correctly. The wideband controller led does stay solid when I get the engine running so it does seem like it has power like it should.

*Wideband Info*
Linear Output: 0[V] @ 0.68[Lambda] linear to 5[V] @ 1.36[Lambda], 10[AFR] linear to 20[AFR] equivalent for gasoline

*Narrowband Info*
Simulated Narrowband switch point @ 1[Lambda], 14.7[AFR] equivalent for gasoline

I may have found an answer possibly? Seems like on the following post below someone else was using a 14point7 kit like me. To the best that I can understand different wideband o2 controllers use different AFR for different voltages. VL400 seems to suggest that in 12P that VE Learn Params - Wideband 0v AFR and VE Learn Params - Wideband 5v AFR might need to be changed in the bin to correct this. The bin I am using from delcowizzid is set at 7.30 @0 Volts and 22.40 @5 Volts. So maybe he is using a different wideband O2 controller setup than me. Or maybe I dont really know what I am talking about. :D During a cold start a AFR of 10 seems more reasonable to me. For the meantime I have adjusted the AFR to 10 @0 Volts and 20 @5 Volts as done in the thread below. Easy to change back if I am wrong.

Being a Spartan you can use the start up sequencer to get it right. It's a very handy feature

Yep set this 2 scalers then as above check the reading in tunerpro as you turn the wideband on and make sure it matches

Just a quick update. At the ECU's two connectors I found that I had the D7 and D8 pins backwards. I used the same color wire so I put them in backwards by accident. Basically my computer was receiving wideband voltage on the narrowband pin and narrowband data on the wideband pin. This is the first time I have gotten the engine to warm up. Engine is running at 11.8-11.9 at 180 degrees F. So I am going to start tuning it now since its way rich.

If it's rich everywhere adjust the injector size till it's leaner everywhere should get you in the ballpark pretty quickly then tune the ve table to fix the lean and rich spots

I tried lowering the injector rate from the 19lb injector rates to the following with no change to the wideband o2 reading of about 11.8. Also aldl droid is reporting that it is staying in open loop and not going to close loop for some reason. When the engine heats up 180F//82C its not changing like it should. I am not sure if that has anything to do with why it running so rich or not.

Did you confirm the wideband readings match aldl data using the Spartans start up sequence so you know what's shown in the data is real.post up a log

And that tune will be setup full open loop was in an off-road truck with no o2 sensor easy to turn it all on though

Do you have a bin that is for the injectors you are using the battery voltage and low pulsewidth offsets probably need changed to suit should be able to pretty much cut and paste out of a tune that ran those injectors.ive used the old Rochester injectors and they run terribly rich on the stock tables in 12p
