Also, I'm having trouble finding the store to look at the CnP ignition interface. Could you possibly point me in that direction? Thanks!

I saw a thread that showed a ignition module interface to use a CNP set-up to replace the dizzy. I'll have to find it again

OK, almost ready to swap.

1st hiccup. MAP sensor +5 Ref, do I need to steal that from the TPS ref? I don't see the pin labeled in the wiring guide.

2nd hiccup. The 7749 utilizes the VSS inputs directly and outputs a 2000ppm and 4000ppm signal. I completely forgot about the 165 may not have that ability. Is there a pulse divisor I can obtain just in case I cant find a DRAC that wont work with my transaxle ratio?

Thanks

1: yes
2: hmm the original config of 12p is the vss to the dash, which divides by 4 (I think) then sends to the pcm. You may need a custom solution for that :( I dont think it'd hard to too hard to build one if you cant find anything pre-existing but it would be another project.

Im off to the junkyard now to rummage a DRAC/VSSB from an older chevy truck or GM car. Shouldn't be difficult to find one.

The Dakota digital speedo correction buffer will also work for those with the same issue.

Thanks Antus

Thanks for the help!

I'm also going to wire up a 1 bar MAP for baro correction since I live near a mountain and occasionally drive from 4400 ft elevation to about 9500ft.

Kinda foggy on the advanced tuning guide. 1k pull-up resistor for the baro input on B12, set option bits accordingly. But from there I'm not sure if I should be using the switching input for the fuel tables or if it will run as is?
