i originally started with alot less but found as time went on i wanted to know more, like injector duty cycle and such .....

also i have the wideband going into one of the auxilary inputs on the data logger ... but thats neither here nor there .. if im on the dyno i change the battery voltage to show the wideband because i can't tune and use the data logger at the same time.

i basically do all my tuning / tweaking with the laptop and full message and then just use this when im racing ...

i also have a M6 adx setup for use on the dyno, to only show what i need to tune.

it means its a 16 bit item, so in the adx settings you need to set it as 16 bit instead of 8 bit.....

have a look at the items in the full message and you can set them up the same, only thing you need to change is the offset that they use for M6 and also the size of the packet etc in the connection settings. but if you use the M6 that VL400 provided and just adjust it from there you should be ok.

if it makes you feel better i struggle with M6 setup sometimes, VL400 has been very helpful in sorting my blunders!

Got a log here from a previous revision. It's got a WOT run at around the 8 minute mark. This is about 3 bin's ago so it's a bit off.
But there was no spikes in the 100kpa column. The data is actually better than i remembered so maybe i might be able to leave the message 6 logging for now, Holden202T does it look accurate enough to you?

looks to me like it gets pretty rich the higher it goes in the revs, but other than that looks ok ?

you wouldnt have hit the 1800 rpm WOT spike in that log coz you didnt get to WOT till 4000 rpm....
to get a good WOT pull you need to ride the brake in a high gear (if manual) and stab it all the way to the floor and keep riding brake to keep rpms under 1000 rpm for a few seconds ( to blow off any AE errors first) then let go of brake and do a steady pull to redline.

if its auto then you would probably never hit the 1800 rpm WOT spike unless you were on a dyno as it would jsut wheelspin in first gear lol
