if you have it properly in diagnostic mode with the ignition on, the fan should run, and the engine light should flash codes .... if its not doing that then something is wrong.

Its better to talk pin numbers, as different donor vehicle looms used different colours in some circuits. Ive just checked the 12p wiring pdf and it says A9 is diag request and its white/black so that sounds right.

You can turn off the adaptive spark (or maybe your engine is just super smooth), so they're both possible too.

Idle spark table is set at 28 degree and the idle spark adjustment is limited to 2 degree.

The thermo fan on this isn't controlled via the ecu and I haven't got a check engine light permanently wired yet, although I used a test light last week and was able to count flashes so it must be working..

Yeah I have done that and run tape over the pully and marked it.
It's all good this idle tune has done everything iv wanted it too and more so I'm stoked with it and I'll just wait till it gets its full tune next week

Engine made 352rwkw @6000 rpm on 11psi and made 1700nm
Had a spark issue causing a "limiter" type breakdown at 6000 which turned out to be a plug issue. Also had some belt slip.
Once car is all finished I'll put a better exhaust on it and get it spun up again. Bit more Ron and boost along with exhaust should hopefully get it around the 400 mark
