Spartan narrowband signal

Post by IMA355-2 »

Hi guys
Just wondering if you guys have had success with using the simulated narrowband signal from the spartan.
Wired in my Wideband today and got nothing from the sensor. Realised I hadn’t removed the pull-up resistor (‘424’). Did that and setup the scalers 0v to 10 and 5v to 20.
I pulled the wire out of c14 (o2 sensor) and wired in the simulated narrowband from the spartan into there. But the engine is now running very rough and the o2 signal isn’t fluctuating in the engine data dash. Wideband seems fine although it’s showing 12.5 afrs
Any help appreciated

Cheers guys

If the wideband is saying 12.5 the narrowband output will be stuck rich

Personally I'd weld in a 2nd bung into the exhaust for the WBO2 sensor and leave the factory NB sensor in place so it can do it's thing.

Simulated narrowband is never any good on any controller its too digital run both wideband and narrow band
