Heres a few pics of the
1227808 vn ecu compared to the 16206305 vr v8 ecu.which can be swapped to use the highspeed aldl with the correct 8192 buad bin file very little difference apart from the missing uart chip from the 808 is in the 16206305 to allow the 8192baud aldl.and the fact it has better componants and tracks.

yes definatly a much higher quality PCB in the VR manual ecu as you can see in the picks the tracks look like they are lifting and have bubbled in the 808 ecu where the 305 is much nicer.and the highspeed comms is a nice bonus when logging i couldnt go back to 160 baud logging after 8192 its just so slow after using 8192 baud ecu.

So is it a straight swap (plug n play wise) to put a VR ECU into a VP?

also in the tune turn off anti theft and change ppk to 1250 and you are running.

Aren't both VR manual and auto ECUs the same, just the memcal iself that is different?

Looks like Delcowizzid got somebody to take same photos for him

you can actually tell what they are for a change.
Only kidding, good to get a look inside a few of these.
As far as the Auto is concerned it uses a different ECM in the VR as it is an electronic auto. The only electronics for the VN/P Auto was for the torque converter lock up I believe.

Is the VR manual 16206305 the same as the VS manual 16206305, do they take the same physical memcal as the VN/VPs take?
