PCM write problems, cabling ?

They go by many names, P01, P59, VPW, '0411 etc. Also covering E38 and newer here.

most definately noisy power from the alternator or regulator. the noise on the vpw bus is enough for the interface to think another message is being transmitted when it isnt.

- Moved OBD2 gnd from dash to engine, problem continues
- Moved OBD2 +12v source from dash to distribution point under hood, problem continues
- Added new signal wire from pcm to OBD2 using different route, problem continues

Then:
- Original signal wire back, new wire from pcm blue pin 60 to OBD2 pin5 (signal ground): Fixed! :punk:
Or maybe it works few times and break again, let's see...
