Fucking good ehh. Great Kiwi drive , bloody shame though coverage of the lead car was non existant for much of the race after SVG took the lead in the wet weather. At least Holden goes out on top.

:driving: Yes great win.
Feels a bit hollow after the "General's" pullout in OZ though.
Does anyone else think the burnout by "that Ford guy" was selfish and childish?
Didn't get what he came for so he had to get attention in other ways.

I see the race pretty much got back to Holden & Ford even if the Fords were Mustangs. I thought I saw one Toyota but all that euro and jap crap have gone. Sad day now to see ending up Ford and Chevy. I think they will loose a lot of fans now.

I believe 888 will still be using the current car for 2021 and then the Camaro in 2022, the only difference next year will be the fact that they are no longer an official factory supported team as Holden doesn't exist any more.

I think a lot of folks have already lost interest in the V8 supertaxi series and with the loss of locally produced cars that will get worse. Bathurst is fairly much the only race we bother to watch with any interest.

Thats true but that Bathurst 6 hour and 12 hour seem to have growing interest, and with a wider variety of cars I think its on the money if enough people get on board with it. Sadly its unlikely that they will be sold as an alternative, which means they're still unlikely to replace supercars, even if could. If anyone hasnt seen those series look them up on youtube and put a race on on the background some day or watch the highlights and see what you think.

Yeah those enduro races are interesting, I like the Muscle Car Masters and the NZ equivalent series although those cars running Nascar motors are going a bit far but fuck do those classic cars move with a bit of modern motivation.
