Vss Signal on vy ecu

Post by tubzbro »

hey guys,

I have eco swapped a vg ute with a t5 gearbox on a vy loom and ecu im currently trying to get the ecu to read the vss signal i have had the ecu programmed to be manual and they didnt check the getrag option which is what we thought would allow the ecu to read the vss signal but im just seeing if anyone else has read a vss signal in the vy ecu and what pin you had the wire go to and how you had the manual options in the ecu.

Cheers.

If it helps, on a V6 VX, the transmission speed pick-up sensor goes to D1 and D2 on the PCM.

Hi,
I've not played much with the vss stuff but am curious if it even matters since it should be sine wave.

No the VG uses a hall effect sensor. This might be a problem, I am not sure though.
