with the notches, im not sure what the go is yet. there are 2 possibilites for the notches, length or angle. for reference, kalmaker says the lada niva has 163mm OD and 5mm notches

- fixed length notch: post #13 on this thread (http://60degreev6.com/forum/showthread. ... gger/page2) indicates the notch length is in relation to the sensor used. so the lada niva sensor must be 5mm?!?

- fixed angle notch: kalmaker site says they 'extrapolated' the 5mm lada niva notch, and when they drilled holes in a flywheel it ended up being 12mm holes or something. if this is the case, it means the notch is x degrees wide, and thanks to autocad that is ~3.516 degrees.

so im not sure what to think is right at this stage. that is very close to 3.5 degrees, and i doubt kalmaker people used a vernea.

The sensors only read a very short range in front of them, I'd wager 3.5 degrees, depth probably just needs to be 'enough'. Someone can probably be more specific, or else i'll be able to confirm in a week or two. :) I imagine there would also be some tolerance in the ignition module, but of course getting it as right as possible will make for the most reliable system.
