Too bad it's an LN3 block, otherwise that's a bargain.

thought about getting some sheet alloy ones made? wouldn't be hard to fab a set up, and you can always make a set from cardboard to get fitments and clearances

There are a few people making them but I think they still have the power steering line clearance issue. Also I'd really like to be able to use the factory seals rather than a paper gasket.

I had a guy reach out to me via FB that is planning to repro the Formula Holden rocker covers. That might give me an opportunity to have some input to have them made in a way that looks original but modifiable to use on road cars.

They don't have oil caps but I figured you can weld in mini billet oil filler and cap on the sloped bit and not ruin the debossed writing. I found a nice billet 1" filler and cap from Raceworks that should fit good.

This isn't what you want to hear; the factory seals are definitely a better setup, but honestly good enough is all you need when it comes to sealing. It's surprising how much better the cork gaskets work with aluminium covers that have a bit of rigidity to them, the KC covers may be the best option if you'd like to keep costs reasonable.

Still leaves the oil cap issue but that is easy resolved with a little machining and/or welding.

I've been super keen on FH rocker covers if I could ever find any. So if repros hit the market I will def take them as the engine is based more or less on the FH specs.

There is a super rare ACL motorsports variant of the covers said guy is planing to have cast as well. They look really sexy retro piece of history.
