thought id post this one up too. not really a custom tune, just copied the vs hsv 185kw bin onto 12p with very mild changes here and there and stacked it for a 512 eprom as its going into an 808 ecu

Basic rebuilt chevy 350 engine, stock lower end, small hydraulic flat tappet cam, poor flowing cylinder heads from the 70s, long tube headers, manual trans, Spartan Lambda Controller 2 wideband o2/controller. This bin is not the stacked .bin for the nvram. This is the one for burning chips. Its been running good with no issues for me.

Description: , it should work with auto or manual provided its the hydraulic auto.
Running on 98 octane fuel.
350hp at wheels on dyno on 38 degree day in Broome.
Daily driven.
Might be a helpful starting point for someone wanting to do a turbo tune.

It's actually been done believe it or not.
A stock Holden file would be a pretty good starting point.
Just change to suit your injectors and ignition angle to suit your distributor signal and I'd think it would run.

Well I was running a ASBX just to get it running reasonable. Was hard to get timing right without pining.
I studied a few 5.0 mustang spark maps and have ended up with this $12p bin. Not too shabby, just a PITA until it warms up, so need to sort that. Leaning towards the water temp sensor where it is fitted on the windsor and me running an electric pump so the water flow through the heater lines is pretty much
f/all. Prob read better and help the cold running if it's fitted in a better flow area
any suggestions are welcome

Yeah you want the CTS right before the thermostat where the bypass coolant flows in, this is the spot where the core engine temp is most accurate and fastest to condition changes.
I'm the director of VSH (Vlad's Spec Holden), because HSV were doing it ass about.

Well this is where I've ended up so far with it all running pretty well. Still need to get some live data to see if all my changes are doing what I want.
