Fuel Level J1850 bus message C5

Post by Highlander »

Hello,

Does anyone know what is the bus message for Fuel Level on a C5 is? I thought it was 8312 but this doesn't appear to be the case. Any help would be welcome.

Thanks

Trying to figure out why my cluster will not respond to 8312 broadcast for fuel level.

With tech2 you can command fuel level gauge on ipc. That is the easiest way to troubleshoot. If it doesn`t move the stepper motor went bad for the fuel gauge, or the ipc itself have some issues.

Stepper motor moves as it moves every time I key cycle. I wonder if the command is the same as the broadcast message, which i doubt.
