After Market CAT's
Putting the feelers out to see if anyone has experience with aftermarket CAT's. I'm thinking of fitting one to my car but don't have much room. The small 4" round one will fit but my question is how good are they? Will they work like OE ones?

Very hard to find good aftermarket ones, the magnaflo ceramic ones aren't too bad but hard to find in Aus.
I'm the director of VSH (Vlad's Spec Holden), because HSV were doing it ass about.

Yea I was thinking Magnaflow might be the go. I can't see the cheap chinese ones for $50 doing much at all. The big problem is I have limited room without a full exhaust system revamp. Might just have to do that.

Have had zero luck with multiple aftermarket cats I've fitted at work.
If your happy driving around with an engine light and P0420 go for it

Thanks pman92. It's actually for a conversion that is usung OBD1.5 so theres no rear O2 sensor. It's just to clean up the exhaust a bit but the big problem is little room.

These should work great as the California regs are very tight. There is universal compliant ones on page 2, but for some reason none of them have any specs listed, spec section is blank?
