Delphi P10 PCM (used for GM Inline 4.2L)

They go by many names, P01, P59, VPW, '0411 etc. Also covering E38 and newer here.

Some good video how to crack chips and read ROM out of it, using microscope. At 24 is the interesting part.

Thanks for sharing that link. Never expected rom could be read like that. Impressive skills. Very surprised at the level of encryption for subscription video.

Anyone know of or have some good XDF files for the P10?

I'm working on my '04 GMC Envoy. The calibration is 12587293, and the OS is 12587608.

I'd be willing to try an OS change if I could find a good one.

Thanks!

The only P10 XDF I know of is here: 12587430

You can try swapping OS'es but BEWARE, much about this is UNKNOWN and you may be risking the PCM ... Have a second working PCM handy if this is a life necessary vehicle!

-Enjoy

Yep, I'm going to build a bench harness this weekend and use a junkyard PCM. I'll post my findings.
