P08 Support Information

They go by many names, P01, P59, VPW, '0411 etc. Also covering E38 and newer here.

well that was easy! Awesome. Thank you for the help.

I also solved my other issue of the extra change I didn't want to commit, I forgot to stage the change that I did want to commit and had just done 'commit all'. Reverted my initial commit and did it correctly and made a pull request.

by the way, where are the Readme's that you referred to? I looked at the github readme.md and the Wiki linked in it and I'm not seeing it?

We could put it in .gitignore but then we wouldnt be able to commit it if we change project settings. I generally do a git status and git diff before I commit my work so I can check on it, and then I usually git add the files want to save, or just list them by cutting and pasting from the git status output in the same command as I do the commit. There are many ways to achieve the result, you can use whatever tools or method you find best for you.

This is a Bin from a P08 PCM from a 1997 Chevy Malibu 2.4l.
