So much fun in DOS

Post by In-Tech »

Hiya Folks,
I don't want to go into details, was just having a bit of fun with my GPS trigger, hardware and software from scratch. I just laughed when it worked. I'll end up writing a VB style utility. I thought you guys would chuckle a little.

Hiya Gampy,
It's a combable with a friend. Of course I will share with a PM once it is proven.
Luv ya bro, I really enjoyed our time with that E54 stuff. I could feel your smile while we were doing it :)

Talking of DOS we had a roller brake tester and one day it decided to only display in Spanish. We had a ll the IT specialists trying to solve it and I even had a rep sent out from Italy (the manufacturer) and nobody could change it back to English. With very limited programming skills a colegue and me decided to give it a go and bingo we solved it. Sometimes a bit of old knowledge in old heads works.

Hiya Gampy,
I just got off the phone with my bud, Will. He's glad to share the code with you and you only(Neither of us really care but we might as well keep it to ourselves for now). This is actually pre DOS 3.0 so you will enjoy it immensely. I'll PM you in the morn :)

Thanks Charles,
Yepper, sometimes us old folks are still useful. Even if the rest of us look like this >>>>> :wall:

Gosh, I haven't played with DOS since I was in high school in the 90's. That brings back some memories.
