vxdiag unable to detect

Post by upyas »

Hey guys

Am i missing something here? I cannot get pcmhammer to detect the vxdiag vcxnano at all, i am selecting the com port and trying to test and it just says "not found"

I tried all the device types

obdlink
avt
abdx pro

tried different baud rates

nothing detects the unit, anyone have any ideas what i am missing ? have not been able to read or even detect the device nothing.

cheers

It's a J2534 Device (I believe).

Install passthru driver for Vxdiag (VX manager), I think this is correct version:

Then select J2534 device in pcmhammer

Yes, I have a nano and you have to install vcx manager and update your license every 90 days or it won't work.

It installs a dll into the system32 folder.. which triggers every single antivirus company.

They did not use to do that, I got suspicious of it many years ago, and ceased using there tools after they forced the license renewal as well.
