working with pcm hammer on gpec3 help

They go by many names, P01, P59, VPW, '0411 etc. Also covering E38 and newer here.

currently hooked into GPEC3 with a scanmatik 2 as the pass through using a bench cable gpec 3 are locked i have access to stock variants of the file via an efd program so i opened it up the same software family efd file and there is a section that says security unlock script its a js download is there some way for me to use it via pcm hammer

Well, if canbus is added to pcmhammer (As the GPEC3 is 29bit CAN based on that info), and then the unlock algo+flashing routines+ any other bits and bobs.. then it could be done.
Its just the fact of having to log flashing with factory tools to understand how it works to make something else.

i didnt know pcm hammer didnt have can bus lol thought it did. obdx has can bus was the pcm hammer made before the obdx were avalaible thought they were pair sort of a thing well i wont trouble you about the can bus on pcm hammer but thanks these gpec3s are kinda a pain in the tush lol finding anything to make working on them easier or other options like cloning, obd2 unlock, for someone like me who cant code or anything is challenging to say the least but thanks for getting back to me

PCMHammer was made for P01, extended to P59, then P10/P12/P12b, now P04/P08 are in testing. Its work to add each new pcm type, and a LOT of work to add support for canbus. The interface supporting canbus is only a very small part of whats needed. PCMHammer has never claimed to support any other than the listed PCMs. It may continue to add more over time, it depends how much help there is from interested and skilled developers.

oh ok I just thought it was a universal ecu app didn't know it was exclusive to GM ecus sorry bit that

there is no such thing as a universal pcm flasher, there is no common stardard such a tool could use.
