Nvm on the two bins I uploaded, I did some digging and found pats code that matched it close enough and modified the code to make it do effectively the same thing and now the engine actually runs. Looking like this pats off requires code patching to make work on those, I guess ford didn't intend those computers to have the option for pats off, or the flag is buried in another sub that's in the code I modified. Either case progress is progress =).

I'll have to make up a list some time for what ones I have.

Looks like all the ones you sent are either 1 or 2 bank. I searched for the Copyright text and they are all 96-98, the 98's seem to be 2 bank computers or the other banks aren't being read. Either case I've added them to my file list to go through on the 1-2 bank side of things.

Not sure how interesting this is, but I have most bins detecting the failed maf table (load lookup for rpm vs tps), that seems to be the area of the code that changes slightly often, but doesn't have major redesigns. I have to work out how to add in the post calculation within the naming system in my masks, but right now that's the raw hex from the file. Top 3 are effectively the same car's computer so those should be more or less the same. I also have to grab the rows and cols scaling which I think I know where that's at but I have to do more poking around to be sure.

Anyway, just been plugging away at this project in my spare time, learning a lot in the process too. I'd like to tackle taking a function from one bin and matching it to other bins even with code updates/changes. Clearly would be a system that would see how similar the two masks end up as. Probably have to add in some code for comparing registrars to make sure they are used in the same way/pattern to be sure it's the same function. Like if f2 is used for the base address in one file, but f6 is used in another, I want that to not matter for the detection as long as they are used in the same way.

Also on side note, anyone here have experence with trying to read 96-97 eec-v computers using PCMFlash? I have a dev/test build with the 112K option but I'm not having luck getting a full dump. Some of the 97's seem to be 4 bank, but it seems to fail at random points. All of the 98-03 computers I've read haven't had that issue.
