VZ E55 ME9.6 Tunerpro XDF 92190064 OS

Post by Knackersjewels »

Here is something I've been meaning to do for years: Finally sort out DIY tuning of alloytecs.

DEMO HAS BEEN REMOVED, AS IT IS BEING ABUSED, I will not be responsible for any engine damage caused by people using the demo, breaking things, then asking me for help.
The full version will also include asking for tips on how best to use it safely. PM me if you want the demo.

Still very basic, but I am adding to it every day, as I get time.

Reading and writing has been tested with PCMFlash, and with KessV2 clone, which both auto correct checksums.

Demo is 100% final form, and will not be updated anymore unless errors are found.

I have a "Tuner" level version, at 1.04 currently, which contains most MAF parameters, Spark tables, Torque tables, and VCT. It's now has all of the parameters found in HP Tuners, with the addition of Throttle control tables. Some HP parameters are incorrectly labelled, I have fixed this here.

Tuner Version is $50 per OS
Expert Version is $150

Expert version currently is same as Tuner, but have patches to enable different cam setting, IE: LE0, LY7. Will be adding LCA soon, various cam phaser/sensor setting across the years, MAP sensor input, and potentially MAF deletes, Boost control etc.

Hit me up with requests, or issues, so I can fix them.

Also, if anyone has a Bosch Function Sheet for the 0064 OS, it would save me trying to negotiate a SAAB OS sheet.

This post will be updated as I release new versions.

There is now a working XDF for 92193811 OS tuner version 1.02, and I have started 92179470

What about vats off for this platform?
According to chemistry, alcohol is a solution...

If I come across a switch for it, it's possible. But at this stage, I doubt it.

Have you been able to add all the TDC's it seems HPT hasn't even got all of them, I was hoping to disable P0717 but don't know exactly which 1 it is, so in attached 92190064 file I think I've disabled P0700 to P0720(ish), have you got any of this mapped out in your XDF?

Haven't properly dived into DTCs just yet, as it's a massive job, and I'm preferring to focus on areas that I need myself. But from what I have done so far, one of the ones you've changed is showing as p0008 for me. I could be wrong, as I found that one early on, so I haven't gone back to check. What did you initially change them with, HPT?

Yeah I changed p0700 with hpt & read back in raw format & then changed the next line after p0700 as hpt doesn’t have it mapped.

Okay, yeah that doesn't work, as they aren't listed together, the next byte after p0700 fault class is an error for the check engine light, not another dtc

I've just started looking at them, there are plenty of dtc codewords, more than HPT, you're right. I'll work through them in the order they are in the bin, and when I get to trans codes, I'll let you know
