03 vy BCM or wiring issues

Post by Spookydriftr »

Hey guys Im not sure what direction to go next. I have changed the BCM because the windows stopped working. It fixed the problem for a while and it did the same thing again so I got another BCM and put it in and it worked great except for keeping the parkers and brake lights turned on so I took it back and got another BCM from the wreckers and it did the same thing as the first one by having to hold the window button down for 5 seconds until it works and no lights staying on until now it is keeping the parkers on without having the light switch turned on. I'm thinking there is a wiring issue so i called an auto electrician and he didn't seem interested so any input guys will be much appreciated. Cheers

Are you checking or setting the BCM programming for the car configuration? This is not something I normally play with, but I think it's a thing.
Have you read the FAQ? For lots of information and links to significant threads see here: http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1396
