details... ecm or pcm? operating system? in general, write the stacked image from the original zip so the right data is in the right place to run it then calibration upload over aldl with delco oseflash tool. need to enter *.* to see a bin or rename file as it'll default to cal and nobody really uses the cal extension. operating system type / version must match.

Hey mate thank you for getting back to me.. its a 396 pcm in a vu (vx) l67, so can I just re flash the nvram through the flash tool? Sorry for my lack of understanding i haven't had to do this yet so it's a new process for me.

yes, in a programmer write the original correct enhanced bin to it, and put it in the car, confirm it is talking over ALDL, upload your calibration with delco ose flashtool or tunerpro with oseplugin.

Chances are you have a saved copy of calibration only (the default for oseplugin to work with), and the nvram needs the operating system as well to boot and run the PCM.
