808 Delco hacked . No Injector pulse

I have a Nissan N13 pulsar 18LE hacked (NVRAM)delco.
For over 10 years i have not had an ecu problem.
It drove into the shed after a racing event, went to start it 2 weeks later no go.
Checked for spark ok , has fuel pressure . i tried the std ecu out of my road car and it did start, but does not run well due to all the engine mods and mainly the 2.6L magna injectors.
So i have now pulled the fuel rail out and no fuel spray (so no injector pulse)
I plugged in another 808 std ecu which i believe has TBI memcal in it . anyway injectors spray fuel. Plug back in Hacked ecu no injector spray.

Have changed dizzy, fuel pump, FPR, EGI Relay. Before pulling fuel rail out.

Is there anyone in Brisbane (Australia) area who may be able to diagnose ecu fault?
What is required to change the NVRam to another ecu ? Or does the ram control injector pulse?

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Have a read of that (from the FAQ area (green question mark)) it is as simple as removing the NVRAM and fitting it to the donor ECU.

Hi Gareth,

Had tried swapping NVRAM to donor with no result . Have just done it again now , still no injector pulse (i have the rail out of manifold for visual fuel spray)
On the current ecu there a is a wire link on back of board (refer pic) that is not on donor ecu ???

It is possible that the NVRAM battery has died, can you get a read from it?

If you've been running off the nvram for over 10 years the battery is probably flat.
Should burn it onto an Eprom memcal once you're done tuning it.
Hopefully you have a backup of the tune that was on the nvram?

Thanks for the feedback, Although all of this is above my capability .
I believe i have the tune on a USB that the tuner gave me.
Is there anyone in The Brisbane area who may be able to work this magic you speak of ?

FYI you cant swap the nvram to another ECM without adding the write wire modification to the new PCM. If you do this and have the RW jumper set on the NVRAM (as most people do), it'll corrupt the NVRAM because all read operations will present to the NVRAM as write due to the missing hardware modification. You can do it with the RW jumper removed for a quick test, but you wont have the ability to real time edit the calibration. A flat NVRAM battery would have erased the content of the NVRAM anyway, and 10 years is about the expected lifespan of one, but I'd still expect fuel in backup mode when cranking. Also check the connections in the ECM for corrosion, it could be the trigger signal path was corroded and cleaned up enough when connecting to the new ECM.
