Yeah I know that. Maps better for transient ie a calculated guess, where as maf directly measures and therefore more forgiving and accurate. But I’m wondering if those tables are for that very reason?

Those tables or very similar are in the vs xdf as well. But not a lot of info on them

In open loop the pcm isn’t making any changes to fuel based on o2 sensor feed back. In closed loop the pcm will make changes to fuel based on o2 sensor feed back and try to match the target afr. The series 2 seem to run leaner down low but richer up top wot. The series 2 was more emissions focused and also had twin cats up closer to the engine as apposed to just a single cat placed further back.
