New To Site ( Looking for help)
Re: New To Site ( Looking for help)
just quick question. once i get a nvram and interface and start logging and get my head around what the ecu is doin. To make RT changes and save it to nvram what else do i need. Where does the eprom programmer come into play???
Re: New To Site ( Looking for help)
You wont actually need a programmer ,but if you accidently pull the nvram out while ign is still on and corrupt the nvsram memory ,or it gets corrupted somehow ,you will need a programmer to write the bin to the nvsram again .
Re: New To Site ( Looking for help)
ok so how do u get the bin to the nvsman to start with. Just thru tunerpro???
Re: New To Site ( Looking for help)
When you buy one off vl400 ,he programs it with your bin of choice.

If the engine runs ok on the stock memcal then yeah it can be used as a backup. Once you have got the tune to a point where your happy with it then it would be worth burning a memcal with your tuned bin.

They are on the way to me now, so providing the new design is ok a couple of weeks.
