Blown V6

Post by v6bucket »

I've been checking out the log from the dato's last outing & noticed that at the Siemens Deka 60lb injectors that we have fitted, are showing up at 102% duty cycle at the top end revs, & just short of 120% in the burnout. We're using $12P, Methanol. I'm pretty sure that I've adjusted everything to suit the bigger injectors instead of the drilled ones that we have been using. Ive set the Injector flow rate at .0371. It has an 044 Bosch pump with a std regulator(fuel pressure isn't falling during the pass), but we can change the reg to increase the pressure if needed.
If i alter the flow rate to a larger figure, will this alter the duty cycle?
Does the BPW have any bearing on this?
The burnout is between 3:57 & 4:06, & the pass is between 4:25 & 4:35 in the log.
It eventually got down to a 7.78(1/8th mile).
Unfortunately I've only got one log from the day as the laptop stopped recording several times, showed up "data error" in TP5.
Feel free to make comment on anything else that you may find wrong.
