Re: Astra F C16SE
Thanks for your reply in my thread re rev limit, I took a look at your file but I'm only starting to use/learn software tunerpro so cant make an xdf just yet but this may help you.
00BB This is the main fuel map afaik, for the z factor use 0.390625, z is VE, the x and y is rpm and map, use steps of 400 for rpm, this seems to work, 11 x 16
016E This is the fuel map for low rpm, only goes to 2400rpm, works out same as above for factor and axis, 11 x 6
02E0, 025C, These are afr maps, 9 x 13, the factor is 0.1 with precision 1, thats all Ive figured sof far.
0810, 08C3, 0976 are your spark maps, the factor for z 0.351563 and x and y are rpm and map, z is dgrees btdc. Sometimes there is knock sensor and sometimes there is an octane plug under the bonnet, some run duel fuel systems but I've never seen this myself, these things decide which spark advance map will be in use and can be checked with a diagnostics eg autoscanneropel. Hope this helps??

Re: Astra F C16SE
Hi, could somebody explain me what exactly mean HDF? Is disassembled dumps really clearly to read maps? I've never worked with tuning, but i planning soon. In Astra F ecus maps are contained in eprom, right? I have many Motronic and Renix ecus to examinate, also two delco ecus - want to separate maps in such program. Tunepro is good to start lerning? I see that ECM2001 is more advenced, right.
Thanks for reply,
