just had a better look. i ended up using a falcon sensor. the power will be from a separate relay which just does the heater. the earth goes direct to the battery. i reckon it'll be ok. thanks for your help.

so i've been neglecting this while fixing a 5L EB wagon and putting a CA18 into an old corolla. when fiddling with the ca, i pulled off some pipes which were just the ticket for finishing off the swirl pot. it's got 3 pipes in the top, return from the rail, feed from the mechanical fuel pump and a return to the tank. the pump is the setup i posted in an earlier photo.

there is no strainer before the high pressure pump. what i did was put a filter between the mechanical pump and the swirl pot. i reckon any crap in the system would come from the tank anyway. it'll be interesting to see how well it works. when i can get it into the shed i'll mount it all properly and connect up the vss. then fix the exhaust and start tuning !

it's rough as guts at the moment. it does go though ! after a tidy i'll get some pics.
