I'm planning to delco a '91 Rodeo with the 4ZE1 (2.6L) Isuzu motor.
Does anyone know of any simple method to interface with the optical dizzy?

yes thats right. RB gemini distributor with advance locked and the ignitor removed from inside. Wire the reluctor straight to a camira module. not sure if you need to modify the shaft, but its no biggie. That was what I was going to do to the 4ze1 project that is still sitting in my mates shed waiting to get to the top of the priority list again.

Theres also a new electric ignition guts option on ebay but that one is aftermarket has the ignitor built in so is not suitable. Most of them die because of failed ignitor, but usually the reluctors are ok.

Re: 4ZE1 Dizzy
My module should work with that dizzy, it looks similar to the Nissan optical setup which I have added support for (although only bench tested at this stage). The Nissan setup is 360 outer slots and 4/6 inner slots of either varied width or one smaller slot indicating cyl #1.
So either that, an RB dizzy and camira module or could also possibly use a V8 module from the inner slots but would need to power the optical sensor and check the output has the correct polarity edges.
