I was not aware of any trojans in it, but i also dont have virus scanning as my normal windows development machine is isolated from the outside world. I will scan the files on another PC to confirm they are ok, I have been using this software for a number of years and never had any issues.

WARNING: There is indeed a virus in this package. Norton Internet Security detects "Backdoor.DSNX", in file 'live_l100avg.dll':

http://securityresponse.symantec.com/se ... kdoor.DSNX

Do NOT install this package on your computer, until somebody can provide a new, clean installation package!

Thanks for the heads up. I noticed that the reported viruses/backdoors in this file are not the same, and some scanners wernt finding anything so I took it upon myself to check it out more closely. I ran it through virustotal and came up with these results. Note that the viruses reported are not all the same, nor does every scanner get a hit.

However, the dll files are also self extracting with two different packers, which may be to save file size, but may be to hide something. The packers may also be the reason so many scanners get triggered!

I would not expect it to be trojaned but if your worried about it, dont try it.

The matrix of scanner results is here:
